No. 554 of 2023, CBI case R.C.No.09/E/2018/CBI/BSFB/Bangalore) challenging clauses (g), (h), (i) and (j) of the order dated 23.10.2025 of the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, in Crl.M.P.No.13345 of 2025, which had permitted him to travel to the U.S.A. from 07.11.2025 to 01.12.2025 subject to conditions (a) to (j). The petitioner, A19 in C.C. No. 554 of 2023, filed a petition seeking permission to travel to the U.S.A. from 07.11.2025 to 01.12.2025 in Crl.M.P. No. 13345 of 2025. The trial Court, by its order dated 23.10.2025,

permitted the petitioner to travel abroad, imposing conditions (a) to (j). The petitioner seeks modification for conditions (g), (h), (i), and (j).

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the conditions imposed under clauses (g), (h), (i), and (j) are onerous and unnecessary. Considering petitioner earlier travelled abroad twice after executing a bond and had duly complied with all conditions, including regular appearances before the trial Court, it is submitted that there has been no instance of non-compliance or misuse of travel permission.

3. The petitioner further submitted that, in a similar situation, this Court had modified identical conditions imposed on the co-accused (A18). Hence, the petitioner seeks the same relief. The petitioner furnished following details, justifying and necessity to travel abroad.

(10) I submit that my two sons are living in the United States of America. My elder son is married and living in Washington D.C and my younger son is living in New York. I further submit that my brother-in-law is also living in Boston and all my family members intent to get together for a family function during Thanksgiving holidays in the end of November at my brother-in-law's house. Their addresses are as follows:-

11) I submit that I intend to travel to the United States of America to meet my two sons and my brother-in-law's family from 07.11.2025 to 01.12.2025 in the above mentioned addresses. The proposed travel itinerary is as under:-

4. The learned Special Public Prosecutor (for CBI cases) submitted that the petitioner had earlier travelled abroad twice after obtaining permission from the Court. The petitioner to be imposed with the similar condition that were imposed to A18. The only apprehension of the prosecution is that the petitioner must be available should participate in the

trial proceedings without citing his absence as a reason cause any delay.

Subject to petitioner ensuring this condition the restrictions may be modified.
