This petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report

¶20

Crime No.37 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent Police.

2 . The learned counsel for the petitioner on record submitted that

she has already given change of vakalat and also handed over the entire bundle to the petitioner. However, none has entered appearance on behalf of the Petitioner till date. There does not appear to be any useful purpose being served in keeping this Criminal Original Petition pending indefinitely when the Petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the same.

In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. It is made clear that the Petitioner is not precluded from applying for revival of the Criminal Original Petition, if necessary, in accordance with law. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
