O R D E R

To implement the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.13843 of 2024, dated 27.06.2024, this Contempt Petition has been filed. The order has been passed to the following effect:

2.Subsequently, another writ petition has been filled in WP(MD) No.8010 of 2025 challenging the order of rejection, dated 04.09.2024. The said rejection order appears to have been passed subsequent to the order, dated 27.06.2024 in WP 13843 of 2024. Once again, by order, dated 24.03.2025 in WP(MD) No.8010 of 2025 this Court granted liberty to the petitioner to file a petition afresh and directied the respondents to reconsider the matter on merits and pass appropriate orders regarding the issuance of the legal-heir certificate. In compliance, legal-heir certificate was issued to the petitioner on 05.05.2025. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted an application to the respondents seeking settlement of the death benefits of his deceased son. In this regard, proceedings were issued by the second respondent on 24.06.2025, directing the Headmaster of the School to take necessary action.

3.Now the present contempt petition has been filed without any

reason, even though the benefits arising out of the writ petition have already been extended and the legal-heir certificate obtained. Since no cause of action survives, this contempt petition stands closed.
