The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus for disbursing 2/3 rd share of the retirement benefits of the deceased son of the petitioner. The wife of the deceased is arrayed as the third respondent in the writ petition.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the writ petitioner has passed away and therefore nothing survives to be adjudicated in this writ petition.
3. It could be seen from the counter that the deceased has suffered an order of “Compulsory Retirement” and the decision relating to the Pension/ Death- cum-Retirement Gratuity is awaited.

4. In view of the above said facts, this Writ Petition stands closed with
liberty to the parties to approach the authorities concerned. There shall be no
