ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant patta for the petitioner's house property bearing Door No.50(A), Sires Chatram Road, Vadakku Vasal, Thanjavur District, which is situate in poramboke land by considering his representation dated 07.10.2024.
2.The petitioner made several representations to the respondents to issue patta for his house property which was situated in the poramboke land. The petitioner states that the petitioner was issued with the eviction notice in proceedings dated 06.08.2024. According to the petitioner, if the patta was issued for the said property, the action for eviction would have been averted. The petitioner therefore sent representation dated 07.10.2024, to the first respondent for grant of patta. The first respondent neither replied nor took any action on the representation. Hence, the present writ petition came to be filed.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner at the time of hearing submitted that though larger relief was prayed in the Writ Petition, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation within a time frame.
