ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the Respondents to grant necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament from 15.01.2024 10.00 AM to 16.01.2024 10.00 AM and to conduct other outdoor games for children and elders of village from 16.01.2024, 10.00 AM to 17.01.2024, 07.00 PM in connection with the Tamil Pongal Festival in the Immanuvel Ground Near Devendrakula Velalar Community Hall at Duraisamiyapuram Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District.
2.When the case came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public
Prosecutor submitted that there are two groups in the village. Due to the rivalry

between the two groups, the representation of the two groups seeking to hold Kabadi Tournament in the same venue at different time was rejected by the third respondent.
3.Considering the vehement objection of the learned Additional Public
Prosecutor, the Writ Petition is dismissed . No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
