petitioner; and Mr.P.Harish, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3.
Department issued a notice on 31.7.2023 to the encroachers. The encroachers have filed a civil suit. If there are no interim orders, then the Highways Department would take steps to remove the encroachment in accordance with law expeditiously.

In view of the statement made by learned Government Advocate, we are not required to pass any further orders. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
