The petitioner herein seeks a directions to respondents to provide electricity service connection to petitioner's property in Flat No.G1, Ground floor, Vaaris Sowbarnika, measuring an extent of 210 Sq.feet in S.No.211, Plot No.5, Mangala Nagar, 2^nd Main Road, Porur Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

It is the case of the petitioner that she purchased the above mentioned property under a registered sale deed dated 14.06.2023 and she submitted a representation before the respondents on 10.08.2024 seeking electricity

service connection to the flat and the same has not been considered. Hence,

the petitioner is before this Court

Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel (TNEB), who takes

notice for the respondents 1 to 6, submits that petitioner has not filed any application for service connection and in response to the representation submitted by the petitioner, a letter was sent to her by 6^th respondent directing her to file proper application.

In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to file proper

application seeking electricity service connection along with necessary supporting documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner shall also pay necessary charges for new connection.

The 6^th respondent is directed to consider the application of the

petitioner and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such application.
