This matter came up for consideration before this Court on 11.12.2024, but there was no representation for the petitioners. However, it was brought to the notice of this Court by Mr.K.H.Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate that the issue that would arise for consideration in this writ petition is squarely covered by an order passed by the learned Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos.1216 and 1222 of 2021 dated 14.06.2024 and W.A.Nos.429 to 438 of 2018 dated 25.06.2018, and the said order of the learned Division Bench is also stated to have been confirmed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in S.L.P (Civil) Diary No.5529 of 2019 dated 01.04.2019. As there was no representation for the petitioners on 11.12.2024, the same was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' today.
