This petition is filed to seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent herein to receive the application of the petitioner dated 03.06.2024 in Form CCPA along with the prescribed fee wherein, the petitioner has sought for a Auto Rickshaw permit to operate the vehicle within a radius of 30 k.m distance from Salem Town Old Bus stand, Salem.

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned

Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

The issue involved in the present writ petition was dealt in the earlier Writ Petition in W.P.No.18034 of 2020 dated 11.12.2020. This Court after considering the earlier order passed in this regard, issued direction to the concerned Regional Transport Officer, Similar Orders can

also be issued in the present case, since the said order will ensure to the benefit of the petitioner also.

In the result, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 03.06.2024 in Form CCPA along with the prescribed fee for grant of Auto Rickshaw permit and consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
