Mr.S.Srinivasan, learned Counsel submits that the learned Counsel

for the petitioner, Chidambaram Manthiram Pillai, is no more.

The petitioner seeks directions to provide 3% reservation to the

petitioner's community quota in the reservation made for Scheduled Caste in the election process.

The relief claimed cannot be considered by this Court. The

¶35

petitioner will have to collect empirical data and would be required to move the National Commission for Scheduled Castes.

In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There

¶37

will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.175 of 2020 is closed.
