With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This writ petition is filed to direct the third respondent to process the application for sub division patta transfer application 2023 / 0105 / 32 / 327035 dated 2.12.2023 for subdivision patta transfer from joint patta 2412 and 2354 and issue separate patta to the petitioner's lands comprised in Survey No 437 / 3A1B and Survey No 437 / 3A1D situated in Samalapuram Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur district within a stipulated time.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject properties have been

and he is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property from the date of purchase. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has applied for subdivision of his property and issuance of separate patta in the name of the petitioner, the same has not been considered by the third respondent till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of this Writ Petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 02.12.2023 and pass Order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the Order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
