PRAYER: Plaint filed under Sections 55 and 62 of the Copyright Act read with Order IV Rule I of the High Court Original Side Rules read with Order VII Rule 1 of C.P.C. for the following reliefs:
a) To declare that the plaintiff is the absolute owner of the limited

copyright viz., the video rights including VCD, DVD, Multimedia, Internet, cable TV rights, etc., in the 80 Tamil films mentioned in the schedule to the plaint;
b) To grant permanent injunction restraining the defendants, their men, agents, servants or any other person acting on their behalf from in any manner infringing the plaintiff's limited copyrights viz., the video rights including VCD, DVD, Multimedia, Internet, cable TV rights, etc., in the 80 Tamil films by releasing video CDs, DVD or in any video format and in any other manner;
c) Direct the defendants to pay costs of the suit to the plaintiff;

JUDGMENT
Learned counsel for the plaintiff seeks permission of this Court to
withdraw this suit. The counsel on record has also made an endorsement to
