The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of H.M.O.P.No.239 of 2023 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Alandur.

When the matter came up for admission on 19.10.2024, I called

for a report from the learned Judge as to how long he requires to dispose of the suit in HMOP No.239 of 2023.

The learned Subordinate Judge, Alandur has submitted a report dated 28.10.2024 stating that the entire case records in HMOP No.118 of 2021 on the file of Sub Court, Melur, Madurai District was received on transfer and it was taken on file, and re-numbered as HMOP No.243 of 2023 on 13.04.2023. On the same day, Court notice was ordered to both the parties. On 23.06.2023 vakalath was filed by Mr.V.Rangarajan for respondent, and at his request, adjourned to 19.10.2023 for filing counter. On 19.12.2023 counter was filed and the case was posted for appearance of parties on 20.12.2023, 15.02.2024, 28.03.2024, 26.6.2024. On 26.6.0224, the case was posted for enquiry on 06.09.2024. On 06.09.2024 both the counsel were present and case posted for enquiry on 06.11.2024. Therefore, the learned Judge requests six months time to dispose of the suit.

Taking into consideration the report of the learned Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Alandur to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.239 of 2023 within a period of six months from the date https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2/4

of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the civil revision petition stands ordered. There
