A settlement had been arrived at before the Lok Adalat, pursuant to which, an Award had been passed for Rs.25,00,000/-. On 05.08.2024, this Court dismissed the Civil Revision Petition with a direction to the petitioners to pay a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- as agreed and also extended the time upto 25.10.2024 for deposit of the said amount. Subsequently, on 30.10.2024, this Court passed the following interim order:

“Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 05.08.2024, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) today before the Branch Office of the respondent at Tirupur and the learned counsel produced a copy of the letter dated 30.10.2024 from the City Housing Nidhi Limited, Tirupur. The petitioner undertakes to pay the balance amount of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) within a period of four weeks from today.
