2. It is a case of house breaking and theft of jewelery. Based on
the CCTV footage, the petitioner was arrested and let out on bail. Alleging that false case been foisted against him for being agitating the caste of Narikuravan, the present petition is filed to quash.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that ample material been collected in the course of the investigation against this petitioner, who is an History Sheeter. Further, 4 sovereign of stolen jewels were recovered from this petitioner. The investigation is in advance stage and the respondent police will be filed the final report within a period of two months.
4. In view of the fact that prima facie material available against
this petitioner including recovery of stolen article from him, it is not a case to quash the First Information Report. Hence this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
