Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents 1 to 4 to forbear any further registrations of documents for the property in survey no.239, Sub division number 8, Door No.16A1, 16A2, Bus Stand Back Side, Katcheriveethi, Karampakudi, Pudhukottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2022, in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard both sides.

The writ petitioner is none other than the son of the 6^th respondent. The 6^th respondent executed the settlement deed in favour of the petitioner on 18.03.2011. Subsequently, the 6^th respondent cancelled the same unilaterally. The petitioner has therefore instituted O.S.No.274 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Pudukkottai seeking the relief of declaration and permanent injunction. In the meanwhile, the 6^th respondent should not create any further encumbrances.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the

6^th respondent submitted that the 6^th respondent will contest the suit filed by the petitioner and that till the disposal of the suit, no further alienation or encumbrances will be made.

Recording the said undertaking, the Writ Petition is disposed of. I also hope that the outstanding issues between the petitioner and the 6^th respondent will be amicably resolved through the process of mediation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
