When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the third respondent submitted that the very same notification became a subject matter of challenge in the connected Writ Petitions. When those Writ Petitions came up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the acquisition proceedings have been withdrawn as the respondents have found alternative place. Recording the same, W.P.(MD).Nos.17268 of 2014, 18244 of 2014, 18247 of 2014, 18248 of 2014 and 18249 of 2014 were dismissed on 20.07.2023.
3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of recording the
above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
