The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the

2^nd and 3^rd respondents to take necessary action on the petitioner's representation letter dated 20.12.2022.

As against the order passed by the Tahsildar concerned, the petitioner preferred appeal before the 2^nd respondent i.e. Revenue Divisional Officer on 20.12.2022 and in order to consider the same and to dispose the said appeal on merits within a time frame, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition.

Heard Mr.A.Ramesh Manikandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. In view of the order going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the 6^th respondent is dispensed with.

The learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents would submit that, the appeal filed by the petitioner which is pending before the 2^nd respondent would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, of course after giving opportunity of being heard to both the petitioner as well as the 6^th respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents, this Court directs the 2^nd respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 20.12.2022 and pass orders thereon, of course after hearing the petitioner as well as the 6^th respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
