COMMON ORDER

Writ petition in W.P.No.9187 of 2023 has been filed challenging the transfer order of the petitioner from Cuddalore to Pudukottai and quash the same.

Writ petition in W.P.No.15165 has been filed challenging the transfer order of the second respondent, transferring the petitioner to Regulated Market Dharmapuri, Dharmapuri Market Committee.

Since, the petitioner in both the cases are one and the same and the facts and circumstances are identical in nature, they are disposed of by way of this Common Order.

Though the Counter is filed, when this Court pointed out that there are some discrepancies in the transfer Orders in the last hearing date, the respondents submitted that in the event of vacancies available in the nearby places, the petitioners will be accommodated.

Today, the vacant position is placed before this Court. Accordingly, the

vacant positions are as follows: 2 vacancies in Villupuram, 1 in Dindivanam, 1

When the same was pointed out to the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner, it was submitted that the petitioner is ready to join in the Regulated Market at Ulundurpettai. The learned counsels for the respondents also has no objections for transferring the petitioners to that place.

Such view of the matter, the respondents shall issue a formal order of transfer within one week transferring the petitioners to the Regulated Market at Ulundurpettai and pass orders withdrawing the earlier transfer orders. On receipt of such formal transfer order, the petitioners shall join the new place forthwith.

Accordingly, these writ petitions disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
