The petitioners complaint that, under the guise of maintaining an existing high tension electric line, the respondents are expanding it and encroaching into the petitioners' property. Therefore, the petitioners have made several representations to the respondents 2 and 3.

2.D.R.Arunkumar, the learned Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents 5 and 6, and upon instruction, informs the court that only maintenance work has been carried out, specifically the replacement of an old high tension tower that had been in service for approximately 60 years. And no such expansion has taken place as contended by the petitioner.

3.This said statement is recorded. Now, this court requires respondents 2 and 3 to ascertain the veracity of the statement made on behalf of respondents 5 and 6 and make an appropriate decision on the representations so made. They are also instructed to communicate the decision to the petitioner herein within a period eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of an online copy or the date on which the order is hosted in the official website, whichever is earlier.
