It is the case of the appellants that the Dharani Sugars & Chemicals Ltd., which is the first respondent in WA.No.502 of 2013, has consistently delayed the payment of the statutory minimum price to the cane growers and also in arrears towards the minimum cane price. Therefore, the appellants and other farmers in the areas, who are allotted to the Dharani Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. have faced several hardships on account of the violations by the first respondent.

appellants, this Court is of the view that no further adjudication is required in these appeals. Accordingly, the Writ Appeals are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
