The petitioner is a resident of Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. The respondent, who instituted the aforesaid proceedings before the Sub Court, Alanthur, Kanchipuram District is a resident of Perungudi, Kanchipuram District.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is from Mudukulathur and the distance between the Mudukulathur and Kanchipuram is approximately 500 kilometres and considering the fact that the petitioner has a small child in her custody, the prayer of the petitioner deserves to be acceded. H.M.O.P.No.1407 of 2021 is directed to be transferred from Sub Judge, Alandur, Kanchipuram District to the Sub Court, Mudukulathur, Ramanathapuram District.
