Earlier, this Second Appeal was taken up for hearing before the National Lok Adalat on 11.02.2023. On hearing submissions of both parties for arriving a settlement between them, the appellants have agreed to pay a sum of Rs.2,75,000/- (Rupees two lakhs seventy five thousand only) within
a period of eight weeks and on such payment, the respondent/tenant has agreed to hand over vacant portion of the property. Accordingly, the National Lok Adalat disposed of the Second Appeal and posted the matter for reporting compromise on 17.04.2023. In the said circumstances, this matter is posted before this court under the caption “for reporting compromise” today.

a sum of Rs.2,75,000/- (Rupees two lakhs seventy five thousand only) to the respondent by way of demand draft and as per the settlement, the respondent tenant also handed over vacant possession on 13.03.2023. Accordingly, the appellants took possession in terms of joint memo and as per the settlement, now the respondent has delivered vacant portion of the
property. Accordingly, the settlement arrived between the parties as per the joint memo filed on behalf of appellants and the respondent is recorded. The joint memo filed on behalf of appellants and respondent shall form part and parcel of the award.
