This application has been filed to permit the Administrator General and Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu to donate 20 Nos. of Computers, costing Rs.8,67,300/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Sixty Seven Thousand and Three Hundred Only) from the accumulation funds of FY 2017 - 2018 of the Trust Estates of Madras Ordinance Pensioned Luscars Charities & Baindur Krishna Rao, to Maha Vimochana Trust, Mylapore, Chennai – 600 004, for purchase of 20 computers from Shankeshwara Infotech, No.B-1, Kaj Plaza, 17/7, Narasingapuram Street, Mount Road, Chennai – 600 002..

Learned Administrator General and Official Trustee (AG & OT) has submitted that as per the Will of the Testator, Trust Deed and the orders of this Court, the income of the Trust Estates, namely, Madras Ordinance Pensioned Luscars Charities & Baindur Krishna Rao should be utilized for Charity purposes, by donating to NGOs. He has further submitted that Mr.K.Narayanaswamy, Managing Trustee of Maha Vimochana Trust, Mylapore, Chennai – 600 004, an NGO, with a view to impart training to Tribal children in computer graphics, animation, etc., requested for 20 Nos. of computers and also a Mini School Bus. AG&OT has proposed to donate the computers alone, quotations were called for from various computer suppliers and the quotation submitted by the Supplier, namely, Shankeshwara Infotech was the lowest one and therefore, he sought permission of this Court to utilize Rs.8,67,300/- from and out of the funds of the Trust Estates for purchase of computers (20 Nos.).

Having satisfied with the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the application, this Application is ordered as prayed for and the learned AG & OT is permitted to utilize Rs.8,67,300/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Sixty Seven Thousand and Three Hundred Only) from the funds of the Trust Estates to donate 20 Nos. of computers to the aforesaid NGO.
