PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records relating to the impugned proceeding issued by the 1^st Respondent in his proceedings in g.Nfh.51 ng.kh.k.vz;.1 dated 01.06.2011 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1^st respondent to change the property tax assessment in the name of the petitioner.

The writ petition is filed challenging the order of the 1^st respondent/Municipality, whereby the property tax assessment was made in favour of the 2^nd respondent from one Mohammed Kasim. The petitioner claims that the Mohammed Kasim is her brother-in-law and the property dispute between them is still pending before the appropriate Civil Court.

2.I am of the view that if the petitioner succeeds in the civil proceedings, it is open to the petitioner to approach the authorities

concerned for appropriate orders, in the manner known to law, if so advised.
