The prayer in this Writ Petition is seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to grant a FL-2 licence to start and run a FL-2 bar in Door No.2/346 A to 2/346 H at Gandhiji Road, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District in Survey Nos.119 and 122 based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.12.2022.
2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, 6 and 7 produced the communication of the sixth respondent in Na.Ka.No.P4/310/2022, dated 22.12.2022, addressed to him and submitted that there is no such proposal for granting FL2 licence to run a bar. The said communication, dated 22.12.2022 reads as follows:-
