village people have submitted a representation to conduct the 'Eruthu Vidum Vizha' at Muniyuran Vattam in S.Nos.147/1, 147/3, 147/6, 157/2, 156/4E, 156/4F, 156/4G and 156/4H and the land owners of the said survey numbers have also submitted their consent and no objection letter to conduct the 'Eruthu Vidum Vizha' at their lands. However, the Festival Committee President Natarajan, other Festival Committee Members and village people have submitted their affidavit stating that they will conduct the 'Eruthu Vidum Vizha' as per the rules and regulations laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and this Court and as per the instructions issued by the State Government. In view thereof, a Peace Committee Meeting was conducted on 31.12.2021 by the Tahsildar and all the Festival Committee Members have agreed to conduct the 'Eruthu Vidum Vizha' without any law and order problem. Thereafter, there was a dispute arose between the groups and therefore, once again, on 12.03.2022, the Revenue Divisional Officer has conducted a Peace Committee Meeting that also ended in vain. Thereafter, the petitioner has given a separate representation on 16.03.2022 as if he is the President of Festival Committee and the said P.Natarajan and village people have submitted their representation on 21.03.2022 to conduct the 'Eruthu Vidum Vizha'. Thereafter, in the spot inspection conducted on 30.03.2022, it was found that the Muniyuran Vattam is located nearby the Village and Samundiyamman Vattam is located 1 km. distance from the Village and the Karikundumedu is located 3 kms. away from the Village. As the village people have conducted 'Eruthu Vidum Vizha' at Muniyuran Vattam in the year 2019 and the village people and land owners have expressed their willingness to conduct the 'Eruthu Vidum Vizha' at Muniyuran Vattam, the concerned authorities have also granted permission for the 'Eruthu Vidum Vizha' at Thekkupattu Village. Therefore, the representation given by the petitioner has not been considered.
