PRAYER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the Memorandum bearing Ref.No.PB/LW/45/Staff Council dated 24.05.2011 issued by the first respondent and to quash the same as being illegal, arbitrary and contrary to Rule 2605 of the IREM and consequently direct the respondents to continue the progressman/Inspectors in the Supervisory Constituency No.2 & 4.
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter has become infructurous and nothing survives for
further adjudication in this matter. Hence, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and to that effect, he has also made an endorsement in the bundle.
