Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the Proceedings of the 3rd respondent issued in Circular No.IMUHQ/C/12/18/01/CET-2022, dated 07.03.2022 as made available in the Website and downloaded by the Petitioner on 30.04.2022 with respect to holding of Common Entrance Test (CET) for
12.2.1. BE/B.Tech in Marine Engineering (4 years duration) 12.2.2. B.Sc (Nautical Science) (3 years duration)
on the proposed date of 29th May, 2022 by quashing the same with a direction to the 3rd respondent to hold the said Entrance Test (CET) to such other date subsequent to the publication of Results by the respective State Educational Board Examinations.
ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous in view of the fact that the petitioner has challenged a Circular dated 07.03.2022 which pertains to the Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET)) for admissions to DG Shipping approved pre-sea programmes across India, which was earlier proposed to be conducted on 29.05.2022.
