Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus
(a) directing either the third respondent or fourth respondent or any other respective empowered investigating authority to take appropriate action and to file an FIR based on the complaint/petition dated 20.08.2020 and to commence and conduct impartial enquiry and fool proof investigation as against the respondents 18 to 71 and to identify various other offenders involved in committing criminal offences for illegally and unlawfully grabbing the schedule property which rightly belongs to the Government of Tamil Nadu, as clearly mentioned in paragraph 11 of the accompanying affidavit;
(b) to issue a direction to the second respondent for issuing suitable departmental orders/advisory circulars and thereon to instruct his dutiful subordinate officials to take preliminary cognizance in future complaint/petitions submitted in respect of land grabbing attempts or acts made over the Government or private land concerned to invoke stringent penal provision, and to charge those offenders involved; and
(c) to issue or direct or pass any other judicial orders for any specific or general relief which this Court considers to be fit by its inherent wisdom and grace, based on the gravity
and seriousness of the offences found in the accompanying affidavit.
