This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent police to file a final report and submit the final report in the Crime No.6 of 2021 dated 08.04.2021 on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 16.09.2020.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to file the final report and submit the final report in the Crime No.6 of 2021 dated 08.04.2021 on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 16.09.2020.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.6 of 2021. He would further submit that with regard to the dispute, several instructions were given to the petitioner to appear and cooperate for the enquiry whereas, she had not appeared for the enquiry.

3. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner

would submit that the respondent has not called the petitioner for enquiry till yesterday and only yesterday, the Respondent has called the petitioner for enquiry.

4. In view of as the above, direction is issued to the petitioner to cooperate with the respondent for further investigation. The respondent is directed to complete the further investigation and file the final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
