This application is filed by the Official Liquidator seeking recovery of an alleged debt from the respondent. Pursuant to directions issued earlier, the Official Liquidator has ascertained that the name of the respondent is not reflected in the Register of Companies. Consequently, this application is liable to be and is hereby closed. The Official Liquidator submits that he has called upon the ex-directors, who had filed the statement of affairs showing the name of the respondent as a debtor of the company in liquidation, to provide an explanation. Pursuant thereto, if the Official Liquidator is able to ascertain the correct name and particulars of the debtor, it is open to the Official Liquidator to file an application seeking recovery from such debtor.
