Writ Petitions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in these circumstances stated therein and in the respective affidavits filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to issue a writ, Order or Direction and in particular a writ in the nature of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records and proceedings thereof, of the 1st Respondent in Letter No.26029/ 0054/ 2013-IC- II, dated 30.09.2019, and quash the same and directing the 1st Respondent to accept the Petitioners Application dated 02.12.2011 submitted along with all the original Documents as sought for by the 1st Respondent and consequently issue Indian Citizenship to the petitioner under section 5 (1) (g) of the citizenship Act, 1955 and to pass.(in WP.No.5228/2021)and;
(ii) to pass an order of ad- interim injunction, restraining the respondents from in any manner taking any coercive steps against the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner is not a citizen of India, (in WMP.No.5792/2021) Pending disposal of the above writ petition 5228/2021 respectively.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.VENKATESH MAHADEVAN, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:-
It is reported by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents that the order of this Court dated 17.04.2021 made in W.P.No.5228 of 2021 has been complied with and the prayer of this Writ Petition has also been met with. The said statement is recorded and hence, no further order is required in this petition.
