Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India, prayed for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the third respondent made in Letter.No.4584/A2/2014 dated 24.10.2018 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to fix the water spread area in Pechiparai Reservoir, Kanniyakumari District and then fix the lease amount for the year 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.

ORDER
When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking direction to the respondent to extend the period of lease for the further period of two years from 07.12.2019 to 05.12.2021 and to fix the lease amount for the year 2017-18, therefore, the prayer sought for in the Writ Petitioner has become infructuous.
3. The submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents is recorded. Since there is no representation for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
