This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order, dated 03.09.2021 in Ref.No.gjpt[ kWg;g[ vz; .29/2021 passed by the first respondent in respect of the pending Document P.372/2021 and quash the impugned order and to issue direction to the first respondent to receive the pending document P.372/2021 and register the same in accordance with law.

Heard, Mr.R.Manickavel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner presented the settlement deed for

registration executed in favour of his three daughters. The said settlement deed dated 03.08.2021 was kept pending as Document No.P372 of 2021 and by an order dated 03.09.2021 rejected the registration for the reason that the property is an unapproved house plot and as such cannot be registered. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the District Registrar i.e., the second respondent and the second respondent by an order dated 13.09.2021 directed the first respondent to consider the representation as per G.O.Ms.No.78 and 79 Housing and Urban Development [UD4(3)] department dated 04.05.2017 and act accordingly.

Considering the above, the first respondent is directed

to pass order to register the Settlement Deed dated 03.08.2021 as directed by the second respondent vide letter dated 13.09.2021, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed
