Heard both sides and perused the materials available on records.
2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition to quash the notice dated 21.04.2017 issued by the third respondent and consequently, direct the respondents to consider the statement of the petitioner dated 06.03.2017 and appoint him as a Muthavalli to the Jumma Masjid at Butt Road, St.Thomas Mount, Chennai - 16.
3.This Court is of the opinion that the prayer made herein does not survive at this length of time. Hence, the petitioner is at liberty to approach authority concerned afresh, if the same cause of action still continues.
4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
