Criminal Revision Petition filed under Section 397 & 401
of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to set aside the order passed
by the learned IV Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai
in C.M.P.No.440 of 2019 dated 19.12.2019 by calling for the
records and direct the second respondent being the Commissioner
of Directorate of Social Defence, Government of Tamilnadu,
Purasawakkam, Chennai-7 to hand over the victim girl under the
custody of the petitioner.

This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed seeking to
set aside the order dated 19.12.2019 passed in C.M.P.No.440 of
2019 on the file of the learned IV Metropolitan Magistrate at
Saidapet, Chennai and to direct the second respondent to hand
over the victim girl under the custody of the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there
is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit
that the victim has been detained in the Government Protection
Home on 30.11.2019 and she has been released on 01.08.2021.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned
Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for adjudication
in the Criminal Revision Petition. Accordingly, the Criminal
Revision Case is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently,
connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
