The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.21 of 2020.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would contend that the investigation is underway and sought six months time to file a final report. He would further contend that the petitioner is also not co-operating with the Police.

3.In the circumstances, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Madurai City, for investigation and the Inspector of Police is also directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/referred charge sheet, as the case may be in Crime No.21 of 2020 , within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
