This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Vasudevanallur Police Station, Tenkasi District, the Respondent herein, to accord adequate police protection to the petitioner while at the time of surveying the petitioner's land situated in Survey No.939/2B1A1 and 940/1B1 at Naranapuram Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District based on the petitioner's complaint, dated 15.03.2020.

The matter was listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance'. By the order of this Court, dated 15.02.2021, this Court has directed the Inspector of Police, Vasudevanullur Police Station, Tenkasi District, to provide adequate police protection, if necessary, at the time of measuring the property in S.Nos.939/2B1/A1 and 940/1B1 at Naranapuram Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District. Further, he was also directed to dispose of the representation, made by the petitioner, after giving notice to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents 2 & 3 and file a compliance report, before this Court, on 09.3.2021.

In pursuance of the same, the matter has been listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance'. After repeated adjournments, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that sofar no complaint has been given by the Surveyor, seeking police protection. According to him, if the Surveyor makes such a complaint, the authorities may act upon that.

But, however, since already a direction was passed by this Court, subsequent direction, cannot be passed and the earlier direction, should be complied by the first respondent herein.

So, the first respondent is directed to comply with the above said order, on the basis of the complaint, if any, to be given by the Surveyor seeking police protection.

So, with this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
