2.Though this petition has been filed seeking to enlarge the petitioner on bail, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that charge sheet has been filed in this case and it is pending trial before the learned Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act cases, Salem, hence, without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the Trial Court to complete the trial within a reasonable time frame.

3.Heard the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4.Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the learned Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act cases, Salem, to complete the trial in connection with Cr.No.33 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
