2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/accused submitted that the learned trial Judge had in his judgment dated 15.12.2020 convicted and sentenced the petitioner/accused to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 7 years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,00,000/-, in default, to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 6 months for the offence under Section 120 (b) r/w 419, 467, 468, 471, 420 and 420 r/w 511 of IPC and Section 13(2) r/w 13 (1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,00,000/-, in default, to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 6 months for the offence under Section 419 of IPC and to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 7 years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,00,000/-, in default, to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 6 months for the offence under Section 467 of IPC and to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 7 years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,00,000/-, in default, to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 6 months for the offence under Section 468 of IPC and to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 7 years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,00,000/-, in default, to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 6 months for the offence under Section 471 of IPC and to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 7 years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,00,000/-, in default, to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 6 months for the offence under Section 420 of IPC to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,00,000/-, in default, to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 6 months for the offence under Section 420 r/w 311 of IPC. Total fine; Rs.35,00,000/-.
