Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith The High Court will be pleased to order for conducting Judicial Enquiry about the Custodial Assault happened on 16.07.2020 to the petitioners husband namely Mr.Dhanakanthan, convict prisoner (CT No.15248) aged about 42 years, in Central prison, Cuddalore, in HCP. No. 1991/2018.

Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 3rd respondent herein to produce the petitioner's husband Mr.Dhanakanthan convict prisoner (CT No.15248) aged about 40 years confined in Central Prison Cuddalore before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith and directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to transfer petitioner's husband, namely Mr.Dhanakanthan, convict prisoner (CT.No.15248) aged about 40 years, from Cuddalore Central Prison to Puzhal Central prison.
Order : This petition coming on for hearing and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.Chakkaravarthy, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the Respondent, this Court made the following order:
Registry is directed to send a reminder to the Principal District Judge, Cuddalore, to complete the enquiry that was ordered by this Court on 18.08.2020 and send a report to this Court expeditiously. A copy of the said order dated 18.08.2020 shall also be enclosed with the said reminder.
