Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to relax the bail condition that the petitioner shall report before the court of learned XIV Additional Special Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m. until further orders imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.8149 of 2016 in Crl.A.No.591 of 2016 dated 04/08/2016.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. V.R.APPASWAMEE, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S K.SRINIVASAN SPECIAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR FOR CBI CASES on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:-

This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 04.08.2016 in Crl.M.P.No.8149 of 2016 in Crl.A.No.591 of 2016 directing the petitioner to appear before the XIV Additional Special Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai, on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions regularly from the year 2016. In the meantime, the petitioner suffered from cardiac problem coupled with diabetics and thereby, he finds it difficult to attend the Court every month. Hence, he seeks for relaxation.

Heard the learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI Cases appearing for the respondent police.

In view of the above submissions, the condition imposed on the petitioner by order dated 04.08.2016 in Crl.M.P.No.8149 of 2016 in Crl.A.No.591 of 2016 is modified to that the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court once in every three months on the first working day of the particular month at 10.30 a.m. starting from April 2021, until further orders.
