This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents 1
to 3 for committing contempt of court by disobeying the order of ad-interim injunction dated 17.07.2018 made in I.A.No.8500 of 2018 in O.S.No.3510 of
2018 on the file of the V Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.
- This court, while dismissing the contempt petition by order dated 06.07.2021 gave a directions:-
“15. Therefore, in the light of the above, we are of the opinion that this Contempt Petition is not maintainable and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No Costs.
- However, considering the facts of the case, it is necessary for this Court to issue some direction to the learned V Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, for early disposal of OS.No.3510 of 2018 filed by the petitioner. Accordingly, the learned V Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, is directed to dispose of O.S.No.3510 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.”
