- This Miscellaneous Petition has been filed praying for exemption of Court fee of Rs.49,000/- in the above appeal.
- Learned counsel for petitioners/appellants submits that the
petitioners/appellants are the parents of the deceased, who died in an accident on 09.11.2015. Petitioners/appellants filed M.C.O.P.No.6613 of 2016 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Special Sub Judge I, Small Causes Court, Chennai, seeking compensation for a sum of Rs.75,00,000/-. The Tribunal, under judgment dated 13.02.2020, dismissed the said petition. Now,
the petitioners/appellants have filed the above appeal seeking compensation. Since the petitioners/appellants are earning only very meager amount and the claim petition filed by the petitioners/appellants before the Tribunal was dismissed, petitioners/appellants are unable to pay the Court fee and hence, the
present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.
