that it is a very pathetic case in which the bread winner of the family died in an accident that occurred on 30.12.2015 and thereafter, the legal heirs made a claim before the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Salem, claiming a sum of Rs.40,00,000/- towards compensation under various heads mentioned therein. But the learned Tribunal has awarded only a sum of Rs.17,39,652/-. Ironically, the family members have incurred a sum of Rs.9,00,000/towards medical expenses alone to save the life of the deceased. But sadly, the treatment could not give any helping hand, as a result, he succumbed to the injuries. There are four claimants, namely, father, mother, younger brother and younger sister of the deceased. As they are not having sufficient money to pay the court fee to prosecute the appeal for enhanced compensation, they have moved this petition seeking exemption of court fee. The learned Counsel would further submit that the petitioners have also undertaken to pay the court fee if just and sufficient compensation is awarded. Therefore, the present CMP. may be allowed.
