This application has been filed seeking amendment of the cause

title, to amend the description of the defendants 5 and 6.

The defendants 5 and 6 have been described in the original
plaint as follows:-

3. The defence taken by the defendants 5 and 6 that the defendants

5 and 6 did not have any independent existence and they are only channels forming part of the Company called Sun TV Networks Limited.

4. In view of the said defence, the amendment is sought for by the

plaintiffs seeking to describe the defendants 5 and 6 as follows:-

5. Heard Mr.K.Elango, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.M.A.Vimalmohan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 5 and 6.

6. Mr.M.A.Vimalmohan, learned counsel appearing for the

respondents 5 and 6 would submit that even the amended cause title is

not correct. It would be suffice if the Sun TV Network Limited is a party

defendant and it is shown that Sun Life and KTV are the channels

7. In view of the stand so taken by the counsel for the respondents

5 and 6, this amendment application is allowed and the amendment sought for is modified and allowed as follows:-
