In this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the removal of petitioner as President of Kannanthangudi West Village Panchayat. As seen from the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the tenure of the petitioner is only for a period of five years, which expired on 2011. Hence, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition has now became infructuous.
