PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to supply potable water to the petitioner's house at No.29/12-B, Tiger Street, Ranipet, Ranipet District as in the petitioner's locality and clear the blockages in the public drain connected to the petitioner's house above said and ensure free flow of the same, considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.11.2018, 18.02.2019, 05.03.2019 and 31.01.2020 .

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide water connection to the petitioner and also to clear the block in the public drain connected to the house of the petitioner.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions from the respondent submitted that the petitioner is due and payable certain statutory dues and if the same is paid, immediate action will be taken by the respondent, to provide the water connection and remove the block from the drain.
